Dr. Udesky has been practicing Optometry since 1997 when he received his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry and has a bachelors of science in Biology from Depaul University
He has been providing quality eye care to the North Shore and surrounding areas since founding his practice in 2011. The Northbrook Family Eye Care practice specializes in family Optometry and hard to fit contact lenses. With an eye for detail, the practice uses only state of the art equipment and technology. Hi, I’m Osher — husband to Dana and father of three.
For over 15 years, my wife and I served as a foster family for at-risk girls through the “Orr Shalom” organization. During that time, I worked closely with teens removed from their homes due to parental challenges, while also supporting their parents in navigating crises. I realized that healing begins with the parents — when the couple is stable, the children thrive.
This insight led me to specialize in parental and couples counseling. In 2020, I opened my private clinic, helping couples who are at a crossroads ask the hard questions:
Have we truly tried everything? Can this relationship be healed?
I believe that even when children “don’t know” what’s going on — they feel it. Tension between parents affects the whole family.

Physical Therapist Dr. Efrat (Effie) Rebish, DPT, OTS has a Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree from Tel-Aviv University and has also completed more than 900 hours of post-graduate coursework in the fields of orthopedics, osteopathy and neurology.
Since 1989, Effie has worked as a physical therapist in Israel and the United States in the following areas: pain management, orthopedics, mainly spine, neurology, sports injuries, vestibular and balance disorders, electrotherapy and osteopathy.
Moving Forward has been created to meet the needs of patients with chronic pain and to enable people to return to gainful employment and full, personal lifestyles. It is our belief that medical pain management and various neuromuscular afflictions should be integrated with the total Emotional treatment to reinforce both outcomes.
Moving Forward is devoting to treat the source of the pain and teach how to C.O.P.E (Control Over the Pain Experience).
The weight of PT treatment and emotional PsT will be equal, in order to eliminate unnecessary fear of stigma.

Hi, my name is Karen Achtman, and I am excited to be teaching kids yoga classes. I began my career as an elementary and special education teacher while frequently practicing yoga on the side for my own wellbeing.
I also began teaching adult yoga classes. After becoming a mom, I added the kids yoga certification to my repertoire; I wanted to combine my passions of teaching kids and yoga!
Panda and Me classes consist of yoga poses, songs, movement, and stories. Classes are a great opportunity to connect with and bond with your child, while having fun! Benefits of practicing yoga include stretching your body, improving flexibility, balance, and coordination, and trying new things! Yoga is also accessible to everyone; it is a noncompetitive activity to do together with your child! Kids yoga classes help instill yoga principles in children from a young age; these are skills they’ll use throughout their lives!
